Learn what you can and can't do with ShadcnStore blocks after purchase. This licensing agreement governs the use of our UI blocks and components.

In Short

You can:

• Use our blocks in unlimited personal and commercial projects

• Modify and customize blocks to fit your needs
• Use blocks in SaaS applications, websites, and products

You cannot:

• Redistribute our blocks as-is or create competing libraries
• Share license keys (except Team license holders)
• Upload blocks to public repositories in their original form
• Create derivative block libraries for distribution

Personal vs Team Licensing

ShadcnStore offers two licensing tiers designed to accommodate different team sizes and collaboration needs.

Personal License

Ideal for:

• Solo developers and freelancers
• Individual creators working alone
• Single-person agencies

What you get:

• Access to all premium blocks in our collection
• Lifetime updates as we add new blocks
• Commercial usage rights for unlimited projects
• CLI integration with personal license key
• Priority support

Restrictions:

• License key cannot be shared with other developers
• Only the license holder can access premium blocks
• Non-transferable (cannot be sold or given away)

Team License

Ideal for:

• Development teams up to 25 members
• Agencies with multiple developers
• Companies building internal tools

What you get:

• Everything in Personal License
• Share access with up to 25 team members
• Single license key for the entire team
• Team management capabilities
• Priority team support

Team Benefits:

• Cost-effective for teams (compared to individual licenses)
• Simplified license management
• Shared access to all premium blocks
• Team collaboration support

When to Choose Team License

Choose Team license if:

• You have 2 or more developers working with ShadcnStore blocks
• You want to share blocks across your development team
• You need centralized license management
• Your team works collaboratively on projects using our blocks

Licensing Agreement for Code Resources

By purchasing ShadcnStore blocks ("Items") from our website, you are granted a license to use these UI components under specific conditions. This license grants you an ongoing, non-exclusive, worldwide license to utilize the code components ("Items").

What Constitutes an End Product

An End Product is your finished application, website, or software that incorporates ShadcnStore blocks. Examples include:

• Web Applications: React/Next.js apps using our blocks
• Websites: Marketing sites, portfolios, corporate websites
• SaaS Products: Software-as-a-Service applications
• Client Projects: Custom development work for clients
• Mobile Apps: React Native applications using adapted blocks
• Desktop Applications: Electron or similar applications

You Are Allowed To:

• Create End Products for personal or commercial use
• Sell, license, or distribute your End Products
• Use blocks in client projects and charge for your work
• Include blocks in SaaS applications and subscription products

✅ Modification & Customization

• Modify and customize blocks to fit your design needs
• Combine blocks with other code and create derivative works
• Change styling, layout, and functionality as needed
• Integrate with your existing codebase and components

✅ Multi-Use License

• Use blocks in multiple projects (no per-project fees)
• Create unlimited End Products
• Reuse blocks across different clients and projects
• Build template systems for your own use

✅ Team Collaboration (Team License Only)

• Share license key with up to 25 team members
• Collaborate on projects using ShadcnStore blocks
• Enable team access to premium blocks and updates

You Are NOT Allowed To:

❌ Redistribution Restrictions

• Share or distribute the source code of blocks in their original form
• Publish blocks to public package repositories (npm, yarn, etc.)
• Include blocks in open-source projects or public templates
• Upload block code to GitHub or other public repositories as standalone components

❌ Resale Restrictions

• Sell, resell, or distribute blocks as standalone products
• Create competing block libraries or component systems
• Redistribute blocks as development kits, UI libraries, or templates
• Create derivative component libraries based on ShadcnStore blocks for distribution

❌ License Sharing Restrictions

• Share Personal license keys with other developers
• Provide access to premium blocks to non-licensed team members
• Use blocks on behalf of unlicensed third parties
• Transfer Personal licenses to other individuals or organizations

❌ Source Code Exposure

• Allow end users to extract block code from your End Product
• Expose block source code in client-side accessible formats
• Include original block files in your End Product distributions
• Make block code accessible for download by end users

Free vs Premium Blocks

Free Blocks

Our free blocks serve as an introduction to ShadcnStore's quality and development approach:

• No Authentication Required: Install directly without license keys

• Commercial Use: Yes, free blocks include commercial usage rights
• Modifications: Full permission to modify and customize
• Support: Community support through Discord and documentation

Premium Blocks

Premium blocks represent our complete collection of professional-grade components:

• License Required: Personal or Team license needed for access
• Full Collection: Access to 120+ premium blocks and growing
• Monthly Updates: 10+ new blocks added each month
• Priority Support: Direct support from our team
• Commercial Rights: Full commercial usage included
• Lifetime Access: No recurring fees or subscription required

Both Personal and Team licenses include comprehensive commercial usage rights:

Products for Sale

• Include blocks in SaaS applications and subscription products

• Create and sell website templates (that don't expose source code)
• Build and monetize web applications using our blocks

Agency and Freelance Work

• Use blocks across all your client projects
• Include blocks in your agency's standard development toolkit
• Create reusable internal templates and patterns
• Build consistent design systems for your clients

Team License Management

Adding Team Members

Team license holders can share their license key with up to 25 team members. Team members can:

• Install premium blocks using the shared license key
• Access all authentication methods
• Receive updates and new block releases
• Use blocks in team projects and client work

Team Member Guidelines

• Team license key should only be shared with authorized team members
• Each team member should use the same license key for authentication
• Team access is tied to active employment/membership with the license holding organization
• When team members leave, their access to the license should be revoked

License Transfer

• Personal licenses are non-transferable between individuals
• Team licenses can be transferred to new team owners by contacting support
• Change of team ownership requires verification and approval
• License transfers may involve administrative fees

Refund Policy

Digital Goods Policy

ShadcnStore does not provide refunds after purchase as our products fall under the digital goods category. This policy exists because:

• Immediate Access: You receive immediate access to all blocks upon purchase
• Digital Nature: Products cannot be "returned" once accessed
• Try Before You Buy: All block categories include free versions for testing

Before purchasing, we strongly recommend:

Intellectual Property

ShadcnStore Rights

• ShadcnStore retains ownership of original block designs and code
• Our brand name, logo, and documentation are protected trademarks
• We reserve the right to use customer projects in marketing (with permission)

Customer Rights

• You own the End Products you create using our blocks
• You retain rights to your custom modifications and additions
• Your unique implementations and customizations remain your property
